Women on Wednesday: I’m In Love With Two Women

by Mr. Man on November 18, 2009

I’m in love with two women. There. I said it I confess. I am in love with two women.

I don’t know know how it happened, but it just did. And it is the best thing that has ever happened in my life.

My wife, Adi, and my daughter, Bae, are angels from heaven. Why they love me? Sometimes I wonder. Why do I deserve the love of these ladies. I don’t know, really. I’m just glad they love me.

Yes. I still crave my wife heartily! Lol!

The fact of the matter is that I met Adi when I was clearly not ready for a long-term relationship. My eyes still strayed and my thoughts still wandered. There was something about her that was intriguing. It was maturity. Something that I lacked at the time. Her almond-shaped eyes were ( and still are) among the most beautiful sights I have every laid my eyes on. And she was (is) FINE!

My Pum'kin!

Love turned into marriage and my sweet one gave me the gift of an angel. Bae was born. The first time I saw and heard her heartbeat, the purest love washed over me. I physically haven’t felt anything like that since. She is the oldest child. My firstborn. While I love my children equally, she is the one who brought me into fatherhood. For that, I am eternally grateful.

From my point of view, its cool to be in love with more than one woman. I think that there are too many times when we fail to express our love and appreciation for those around us.

I want to do that now. I love my girls. Yesterday. Today. And Forever.

And I’m man enough to say it to the world. How about you? Tell your girl (s) that you love them today.

  • This is beautiful and wonderful, just like those it was written about.
  • There's nothing like a dad's love. Miss Bae is adorable! Loving her pink ensemble :-).
  • That's right!!!

I tell my kids all the time.
Also, when I tuck them in I say, "thank you for being my son" (or daughter).
I always kiss them and give thanks again after they are asleep.
    I'm VERY thankful!!

    Loved the pictures!
  • Thank you, Lynn. I used to tell my kids that they are my favorite son or daughter (I only have one girl and one boy). As they grew older, they tell me that they are my only son and daughter. Even though they have grown wiser, I still tell them this because the sentiment remains. They are my favorite little people on the planet.
  • OMG...you just made me cr! (good tears!) This was beautiful!!
  • Keep it up and you are gonna make Mr. Man mist up! :-)
  • Awwww this has got to be one of my favorite posts EVER!!! So sweet!!
  • Huge compliment. It humbles me. Really. Thank you.
  • Great post. I tell my girls that I love them EVERY single day.
  • Every good father and husband should make a point to follow your example.
  • Too cute! Love is AH-MAZING!
